Event Information

  The Band rehearses on Thursday afternoons at the Cheadle Guildhall, from 2.00 to 4.00pm.

Band members receive no payment;  we play purely for our own pleasure. The Band is currently open to new members who are able to play instruments which fall into the following groups: Brass [Trumpet, Cornet, Flugelhorn and Trombone], Woodwind [Flute, Clarinet and Oboe], Saxophones [ Alto, Tenor and Baritone], Strings [Violin]. Members should read music and be capable of playing their instruments, with confidence, to a good standard. Evening dress is required for all performances, which members provide themselves.
