CYCLING

Colin Hopkins Group Leader       First Run Manifold Valley

The cycling group meets on the 1st Thursday of the month, starting out from Harborne Road Car Park at 9.30 and cycling from various locations, during the Spring and Summer months.  For safety reasons the group cycles along well defined cycling trails rather than on the main road.  The rides are generally 15 - 25 miles in length over mostly flat terrain.  New members are always welcome and should contact Colin on 01782 395488.

The early rides this year are scheduled as follows:
bullet1st May: Middlewood Way - cycle track
bullet5th June: Chester and into Wales, almost exclusively on cycle tracks close to the River Dee
bullet3rd July: Stafford - on cycle tracks and quiet roads.
