Andrew Bull leads a
Family History Research group meeting in G10 at the Moorlands
College, from 9.30 - 11.00 am, monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the
month.
The course is suitable for absolute beginners and those who have done some
research themselves, but perhaps are encountering problems. The monthly
meetings will introduce the sources of information and tips in addition to
providing a forum for discussing problems.
Use of the internet now makes finding the necessary information a much easier
task and to gain the best from this course, members should have basic computer
skills, although past use of the internet is not absolutely essential.
Assistance outside of the monthly meetings using the computer facilities at the
Cheadle Library (One Stop Shop), including free access to the Ancestry Website
will be available.
