Potential New Groups

Fly Fishing - Steve Clarke would be pleased to co-ordinate a group of whatever standard. Members from other U3A's are welcome to contact him. Find out more by ringing him on 01538 753324.

Sculpture - David Jobling would lead a group interested in shaping materials in any medium. Contact him on 01782 502933.

Do Something Different - David is also interested to hear from members who would like to do something just a bit different - Balloon ride, Canoeing, gentle Potholing, playing African Drums, steering a Barge ..... Strenuous one off treks - Alan Lewis welcomes any U3A member who would like to join him (or him join you) in occasional days out in Wales or the Yorkshire Dales.  Contact Alan on 01538 754208.

	Enjoying spare time
	Increase variety.
	Encourage self help groups to form and share knowhow
	Improve skills
	Improve connectivity between organisers, members and opportunities.
	Find and encourage group leaders for new activities.
	Encourage transport sharing.
	Go beyond and include activities that stretch the boundaries a little. Recruit know-how and other skills for charity work (when required). Collaborate with other U3A areas when needed.
	Extend the website beyond the present activities and  advertise for ideas, suggestions and wants. Home
