Verse or Worse conveys Alan and Barbara's light-hearted approach to poetry
in this popular group, which has a monthly theme with the object of publishing
their efforts.
Meets at Cheadle Guild Hall Oakley room (back room)
on the last Tuesday of the month from 11.30 to 12.45.
There is no compulsion to
read any poetry. If someone does not wish to for any particular reason. It
is quite sufficient for them to come along and just sit and listen if
they want to and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
We have had several new members
who at first did not wish to contribute and now participate fully. A big
plus for them and for the group I feel. Also we have one or to who
bring along a poem but like another group member to read it for them.
Anyone is welcome to come along to observe
without charge for a session to see if it's for them or
not
